The Night we either dread or love…..NYE!

Now we all have a love hate relationship with the new year, we have the same people ever year who say they will 'change' and that 'this year will be different' and by mid january they're still eating chocolate and crisps! However this post isn't about my new years resolutions because I really don't have that many, but the night itself.

I made the brave decision to go clubbing on New years Eve which has its challenges such as the ridiculous taxi prices and the 10x more drunks around. Yet I braved these things and tackled the clubbing scene, I went to a masked event which in fact nobody was wearing masks.

The night itself was lets say entertaining me and my friends enjoyed the night but couldn't help but think it didn't have the same atmosphere as a house party. None the less I had a enjoyable night and well in the early hours of the morning went to Mcdonalds……guess the diet isn't happening at the beginning of the year!

My dress is from Motel Rocks and My shoes are from H&M!

Bobbi Brown Galore!!!

Hey lovely's, Ive lusted over the Bobbi Brown products for a long time. Since going to university and finding out my housemate uses and loves Bobbi Brown products made me intrigued to try some of the products out, so I popped some of the products on my christmas list and here we are…..

My mom found this lovely set of Bobbi Brown products at a outlet store called The Cosmetic Company. The products came in this beautiful rose gold bag which in my opinion you could use as a clutch as well as a makeup bag, its that nice. 

On to the products…..The set included many of its most popular products such as the famous Long-wear Gel eyeliner in Caviar Ink and the ultra fine eye liner brush to go along side it. Another eye product was the Everything mascara, two cheek products came in the set the Shimmer Brick Compact in Bronze and a Lips and Cheeks Pot rouge in the colour blush rose (3). That was not all the last two products one of which was a clear lip gloss in Crystal and a Hydrating Face Cream. 

The products I was most excited to try in the set was the Shimmer Brick Compact in bronze as I thought this would also be suitable on the eyes as well as the cheeks. The Long-wear Gel eyeliner was also another product I was excited to try out as I heard many beauty bloggers rant on about how amazing it is. 

First impressions…….

After trying each product a few times Ive defiantly picked out my favourites from this bunch. The Pot Rouge for lips and cheeks is so handy to have in my purse as it has a lovely big mirror. Im such a sucker for a good creme blush as I love creme products and this didn't disappoint, its rather sheer however the shade is rather dark so it leaves such a lovely rosy glow on the cheeks which lasts well. I found the product very drying to put onto the lips on its own however with a gloss it works well as it last all day. Ive also found putting it in the crease of my eye as a base has worked really well under cranberry from mac eyeshadow. 

The Shimmer Brick was another favourite in this set, its not even summer and Im loving the glow this product gives. Its such a pretty highlight and isn't that shimmery on the skin. I love the darker browns as a all over lid colour and have already had complements when wearing it. The packaging again is lovely with the big mirror great for my purse again. 

Im still working with the other products in the set and will keep you updated on how I get on with them.

Welcome.

Ive been meaning to start a blog for a while and for some reason or another never started, however its a new year and I thought it was about time. This space will be filled with whatever comes to my mind, but most likely anything girly or beauty related.

I would also like to hopefully pluck up the courage to start a youtube channel, but lets take it one step at a time. I hope you enjoy this journey with me and I look forward to the future!
